Grant Giving

The Diversity Project Charity (TDPC) channels charitable donations to initiatives which will drive improved Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in the financial services industry and wider society. Grants will not usually exceed £10,000 and can cover –

• • Project costs
  • Core funding

Costs can include support for funding. TDPC does not though fund applications which seek funding solely for a specific post. Eligibility to apply for a grant is restricted to –

• • Established UK Charities or CIOs registered with the Charity Commission or the Scottish Charity Regulator.
  • Research projects undertaken with an educational or recognised consultancy organisation.

where the application fulfils TDPC’s purpose of driving improved DEI in the financial services industry and through that sector to wider society. Grants will not be made to –

• • Individuals
  • Start-up charities
  • Faith based organisations
  • Political organisations
  • Projects which do not drive improved DEI in the financial services industry.

Recent projects which have received funding are Getting On Board, Catalyst Education Programme, and My Big Career. We have also funded research in the socioeconomic diversity in the investment and savings industry with the Social Mobility Foundation. The report can be found here.
